Partnerships in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle
A partnership is a group of parishes agreeing to work together to share resources, both human and material, to become stronger and better equipped for furthering the Kingdom of God. They offer our Diocese unlimited potential as we seek to ensure viable and flourishing communities of people who want to deepen their commitment to Jesus and witness to him in our world.
The Partnership titles have been chosen to reflect the many centuries of rich Christian heritage within what is now our present diocese. Each of the Partnerships is encouraged to remember with gratitude the courageous witness of those who, in various times and places, enabled our faith to survive and flourish and to ask for their prayers and those of the saints to whom the Partnership churches are dedicated.
There are 19 Partnerships within the Diocese. St Osmund’s is a member of the Hogarth Partnership
